This was a period in our nation’s history when the transportation giants were powered by steam and the focus was on the coastal harbors, riverboat landings, and train depots to gage the growth and success of the country. It is my hope that the visitors to my web site will find these paintings accurately depict our heritage and help illustrate our uniquely, "American Experience".

A self-taught artist, David Sulewski has over forty year's of experience in the field of fine art painting, encompassing several subject areas including Aviation Art, Great Lakes Maritime Art, Civil War Maritime Art, Railroad Art, and Landscape Art.
The Artist has had a variety of shows in the mid-west and has produced eleven Limited Edition Art Prints, of these; four of the editions are currently sold out. The artist's work is represented in many private collections throughout the United States and many foreign countries.
